Hi, I’m Jacinta.
I’m a Perth based lifestyle photographer specialising in relaxed sunset sessions for families who want photos that feel like them, not a performance.
I photograph during golden hour because it gives people space to breathe. Kids can move, adults can relax, and connection happens without being forced. My approach is gentle and unobtrusive. I guide when needed, then step back and let real moments unfold. No stiff poses, no awkward smiles. Just honest, playful connection as it happens.
Photography has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I started experimenting as a kid on the family computer, learned the foundations in the film days at TAFE, and later completed a degree in Photomedia. Since then, I’ve photographed people and places from Perth to New York, always drawn to the quiet in between moments rather than the perfect ones.
I’m also a mum of two, which means I understand how quickly seasons change. That’s why I’m so intentional about creating space for families to slow down together, barefoot, bathed in golden light, exactly as they are right now.
When I’m not shooting, you’ll usually find me with a coffee in hand, binge-watching something on Netflix, or wandering around playing Pokémon Go. If you value connection over perfection and prefer things a little relaxed, you're in the right place.
